A presentation of the first draft of comparative studies of waste management in Velika Gorica (HR) and the City of Velenje (SI) was held on June 17th 2015 in Velika Gorica.
The aim of the presentation was to inform the the main users of these studies, prior to the completion, on the points of the study and to hear their expert opinion.
On Wednesday, 10th June 2015, representatives of the partner organizations of the project IMBY conducted a study visit to the Kindergarten Vrhnika and Municipal company Vrhnika, a store for re-use objects (Depo) and facilities for separate waste collection and treatment of PUP Saubermacher d.o.o. in Vrhnika.
On Wednesday 27th May 2015, representatives of partner organizations involved in the project IMBY conducted a study visit to facilities for separate waste collection and treatment in Graz, Austria. Study visit was attended by seven representatives of Croatian project partners, representatives of the City of Velenje and School Center Velenje.
On 20th May 2015 two workshops in the process of developing educational and communication strategies within the project IMBY were held in Velika Gorica. The first workshop lasted from 10.00 to 13.30 hours and was intended for the representatives of educational institutions from the City or kindergartens, schools and higher education institutions. Seven representatives attended the workshop.
On Tuesday, May 5th 2015, fifth meeting of the representatives of the partnership project partners IMBY project was held in Velenje. The meeting was attended by three representatives of Croatian project partners and representatives of Slovenian partners in the project. The purpose of the meeting was to determine the progress in the implementation of project activities and work out the details on the continuation of the project.
